I specialize in family portrait photography, photographing and printing images of cherished moments in their lives to treasure forever. Through my own experience of mothering four children, I know just how important it is to capture images of your growing family, and to have those images printed for everyone to enjoy for decades to come, and not get lost in the sea of "to do" lists.

Motherhood

I could hardly wait to get to Michigan to visit my friend who just relocated there from her home here in WA. Although our friendship is relatively new, Sara is just one of those special people who makes me feel like I’ve known her forever. She is also the master photographer behind my family photos that I absolutely cherish! Anyway, this family has been through a season of change and transition, and to honor all that Sara asked if we could do a Motherhood Session, with just her and the kids. And let me tell you: it.was.MAGIC! She is the most beautiful mother, embracing her children and fully enjoying all the joy and curiosity they bring to her life. She is one of those moms who make me want to be an even better mom: to be more present with my children, more in-tune with their feelings, and more grateful to be a part of their lives. That’s what I will always think of when I see these images we took that day.
Even though I specialize in birth story photography, I honestly love capturing *every* stage of motherhood. It’s all worth celebrating. Don’t you think?
